The Chips in Man and The Man in Chips : An AI Poem

I watched an introductory lecture on Artificial Intelligence. I was awestruck. These words came to my mind and in 10 minutes, I could compose a poem on what I felt. Hope you enjoy it. The Chips in Man and The Man in Chips We build systems that think on their own, No longer do they depend on us to make decisions for them, Us humans, who have programmed them so well, That we now depend on them all day, as if we are on an inactivity spell. The machines, they think, but not like us, For we, we wander about aimlessly in a dense forest of irrelevant thoughts, But they, they are focused on the problem to be solved, Working in binary and no emotions to get involved. Intelligent they are, but with the 'Artificial' tag, A tag that research labs across the world try to erase, To not just have computers mimic the human mind, But to make them equal to any member of mankind.
